Tags
Tags are used to quickly add several labels to a link to categorize it. Usually this is done to add further specification of the category for the link. Tags can be added through the menu or directly in the link add form.
Tag Overview
The tag overview provides a list of all tags with their name and link count displayed. You can sort tags by name, creation date, or link count to find what you’re looking for.
Tag Details
The tag detail page gives a quick overview of the links added for a particular tag, serving as an alternative to the advanced search. From here, you can see all links associated with a tag and quickly edit or delete the tag.
Adding Tags
Tags can be added in two ways:
- Through the menu — Use the dedicated form accessible from the menu to create a tag
- Directly in the link add form — Add tags while creating or editing a link
When using the dedicated form from the menu, you have an additional option for making a tag private. Private tags will only be displayed to you.
Important: Tags cannot contain commas.
Privacy Levels for Tags
Like links and lists, tags support three privacy levels:
- Public — Visible to anyone with access to your LinkAce, including guests if Guest Mode is enabled
- Internal — Only visible to logged-in users (not guests)
- Private — Only visible to you
